The goal of the current study is to assess Pennebaker et al. 's (2009) linguistic analysis techniques as they apply to the pre-assessment of personality or mental conditions. This research is exploratory within the domain of Forensic Psychology. The goal is to collect data from public records noting depositions, trial notes, and the type and outcome of the court rulings. Analysis of linguistics involves the review and entry of public records, testimony or deposition.
