Postmortem toxicology was selected to demonstrate the feasibility of our Raman technology because most samples contain larger number of metabolites (decompose drugs in human systems) and demonstrate very high risk of matrix effects (blood coagulation in cadaver) that could provide false analysis data and inaccurate identification of drugs that cause the death.
