This study investigates the effectiveness of an investigational medication, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy in treating people with a type of brain cancer called malignant glioma. Malignant glioma is a fast-growing cancer that occurs in the brain or spinal cord. The study focuses on participants whose tumors do not have specific mutations known as H3 K27M or BRAFV600E.
Participants in the study will receive a combination of treatments. The investigational medication may block enzymes that help tumor cells grow. Radiation therapy uses high-energy rays to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. Chemotherapy involves using drugs to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing them or by preventing them from dividing or spreading.
- Who can participate: Participants must have diagnosed high-grade glioma, such as anaplastic astrocytoma or glioblastoma, without specific mutations (H3 K27M or BRAFV600E). Individuals with well-controlled seizures may participate, but those with certain other types of brain tumors or conditions are not eligible.
- Study details: Participants will receive an investigational medication along with radiation therapy and chemotherapy. A placebo is not used in this study.
