Understanding phishing via human phishing reports

Summary

The purpose of this study is to look for and analyze any patterns between emails that pass through the IU phishing filter, but still gets reported to the email address for phishing by humans. The purpose of this study is to if certain patterns and developments are found from the data collected that the filter applied to email on campus could be improved to better prevent people from receiving these emails.
