Summary

Here we propose to use a modified version of Monetary Incentive Delay Task (Knutson, et al., 2000) to elicit positive and negative emotions associated with the anticipation of potential monetary rewards and losses. In our experiment, we propose to measure the force (i.e. vigor) and reaction times of pushing and pulling movements that result in potential monetary gains or losses.
