Summary

The first two goals of this project is to establish normal reference ranges for thromboelastography (TEG) coagulation parameters in healthy pregnant patients in their third trimester of pregnancy in our patient population. The second goal of this project is to follow all patients by chart review through their labor and delivery for postpartum hemorrhage (PPH). We propose to create a prediction model with the TEG data and post-partum bleeding status. The third goal of this project is to develop a standard of care protocol for the treatment of women suffering from PPH.
