This study investigates the links between brain structure and function. It takes place at the Social Neuroscience Lab at Indiana University. The purpose is to understand how different parts of the brain work together. This involves measuring brain activity and blood flow, which can give insights into brain functions.
Participants will attend two sessions, each lasting about two hours. During these sessions, they will rest quietly with their eyes open. In one session, the electrical activity of the brain will be measured, and in the other, brain blood flow will be monitored. Additionally, structural MRI scans of the brain will be taken.
- Who can participate: Adults without a history of neurological or psychiatric illness can participate. Women who think they might be pregnant are not eligible.
- Study details: Participants will need to attend two sessions where they will rest quietly while their brain activity and blood flow are measured. Structural MRI scans will also be taken during these sessions.
