This study investigates the potential of using urine samples to find new ways to detect prostate and bladder cancer. The purpose of this study is to collect urine samples from both patients with these cancers and healthy volunteers. Researchers will study tiny structures in the urine called exosomes, which might help in creating a new test for these cancers.
Participants in this study will be required to provide a urine sample. No payment will be given for participation. Exosomes are small particles found in urine that can carry information about diseases, and studying them may help in developing new tests.
- Who can participate: Adults with confirmed prostate or bladder cancer and healthy individuals without these cancers can participate. Participants with localized disease are eligible, but those who have received chemotherapy for their cancer are not. Healthy volunteers must not have prostate or bladder cancer.
