This study investigates the natural differences in movement patterns between the right and left limbs. It aims to understand if these differences are linked to the risk of injuries related to running. Movement patterns refer to the way limbs move during activities like running, and differences might affect injury risks.
Participants will undergo assessments to measure limb movement patterns. These assessments will help determine if the movement differences could potentially lead to running-related injuries. The study will involve observing the participants' running techniques and collecting data on their limb movements.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 to 45 who run at least 6 miles per week and have been doing so for at least the last 6 months can participate. Participants should not smoke regularly and must be able to run for at least 20 minutes without stopping. Those with recent lower extremity or back injuries, surgeries, or certain medical conditions are excluded.
- Study details: Participants will be observed for their running techniques to measure limb movement patterns. The research will assess differences in movement to identify potential injury risks.
