The purpose of this study is to understand how often people with spina bifida experience urinary incontinence, which means leaking bladder, or fecal incontinence, which means leaking stool, from day to day. This study investigates how these types of incontinence affect their daily feelings and activities.

Participants will be asked to keep track of their incontinence episodes and how it impacts their daily life. This may include filling out questionnaires or diaries about their experiences.

  • Who can participate: Participants must be between 18 and 25 years old and have experienced urinary or fecal incontinence in the past 4 weeks. They should have normal to mildly impaired cognitive development and be able to read and write in English.
  • Study details: Participants will be asked to track their incontinence episodes and report how these affect their daily life. This may include completing questionnaires or diaries about their experiences.
