This study investigates screening and treatment methods for young people who use alcohol or drugs. The purpose is to develop a tool for assessing substance abuse in both adults and adolescents. Substance abuse refers to the harmful or hazardous use of psychoactive substances, including alcohol and illicit drugs.
Participants will complete a substance abuse assessment using a computer, smartphone, or tablet. This assessment will help researchers understand how to better support individuals with substance abuse disorders. The study will not take more than two hours to complete.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older and adolescents aged 11 to 17 who are fluent in English and have access to a smartphone, tablet, or laptop with internet/data plan can participate.
