The purpose of this study is to explore ways to reduce the use of anesthesia during radiation treatments for children. Radiation therapy is a treatment that uses high-energy rays to target and kill cancer cells. Anesthesia is often used to keep children still during this process, but it can have side effects.
In this study, children will watch streaming video segments of their choice during daily radiation therapy sessions. They will also fill out a questionnaire called the PedsQL 3.0 Cancer Module, which helps assess their quality of life during treatment.
- Who can participate: Children aged 3 to 10 years who are receiving radiotherapy are eligible to participate in this study.
- Study details: Participants will watch videos during their radiation therapy sessions and complete a quality of life questionnaire. The PedsQL 3.0 Cancer Module is used to measure how the treatment affects their daily life and well-being.
