This study investigates how well an investigational medication works in treating young patients with sarcomas, Wilms tumor, or other rare tumors. These tumors may have returned, not responded to therapy, or been newly diagnosed. The purpose is to determine the rate at which these tumors respond to the investigational medication.
Participants in this study will undergo specific procedures to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment. The study will assess the objective response, which includes complete and partial responses to the investigational medication. Participants will not receive payment for their involvement in the study.
- Who can participate: Participants must be 50 years old or younger. They should not have received specific treatments, like XL184 or certain other inhibitors, and must meet specific health criteria regarding previous treatments and current conditions, including not having significant cardiac arrhythmias or active infections.
- Study details: Participants will take the investigational medication and their response will be monitored. Specific monitoring procedures will be in place to track participants' response to the investigational medication. A placebo is not used in this study.
