This study investigates cystic fibrosis, a genetic disorder that affects the lungs and other organs. The purpose is to collect lung, tissue, and blood samples from patients with cystic fibrosis to help researchers study the disease's molecular mechanisms.

- Who can participate: Participants must have a positive diagnosis of cystic fibrosis and be scheduled for lung transplant surgery. They must also agree to donate their native lung tissue.
