The purpose of this study is to understand the smoking habits of patients who have been diagnosed with breast, colon, or prostate cancer. The study investigates how many of these patients continue to smoke tobacco, their knowledge about the harms of smoking, and any previous attempts they have made to quit smoking.
Participants will be asked to complete a survey. This survey will gather information on their smoking habits, awareness of smoking risks, and any past efforts to stop smoking. The information collected will help researchers better understand smoking behaviors in cancer patients.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 or older who have been diagnosed with breast, colon, or prostate cancer and currently smoke tobacco can participate. Participants must be able to read and write in English and complete the survey.
- Study details: Participants will complete a survey about their smoking habits and knowledge of smoking risks. The survey will also ask about any previous attempts to quit smoking.
