Summary
Our project would involve employing our current practice of varied pain control approaches and prospectively collecting data as to its efficacy. These would be inpatients on the Indiana University Thoracic Surgery service. Pain would be evaluated by our medical students based on stated pain score, narcotic use, and incentive spirometry achievements.
