Summary
This study will explore the use of Natural Language Processing (NLP) to extract and analyze family history data from Clinician notes and other areas of the patient?s electronic medical record. By using NLP capabilities to locate notations of family history within clinical notes and then providing the output to the physician this could increase the availability of relevant information at the point of care.
