This study investigates how samples can be collected for research from tests done for clinical or research reasons on other research protocols. This includes obtaining samples from non-surgical procedures, such as percutaneous biopsies, which are procedures where tissue or fluid is taken from the body using a needle.
Participants in the study will undergo non-surgical procedures to collect tissue specimens or biological fluids. These procedures are specifically performed to gather samples needed for the study.
- Who can participate: Adults over 18 years old who are evaluated or treated at the NIH Clinical Center or participating sites can take part. Participants must understand and sign an informed consent document agreeing to use their samples for research.
- Study details: Participants will have non-surgical procedures to collect samples for research purposes. A placebo is not involved in this study.
