The purpose of this study is to investigate how news stories influence people's perceptions of the health issues.
Description
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the photo in the news stories on people's emotion, cognition, attitude, and behavior. This study investigates whether the photo of an overweight or obese individual in an online news article affects readers' attitudes toward people who are overweight or obese, and whether the photo adversely affects how readers perceive and remember the health issues.
