A Performance Evaluation of the Enlite and enlite 2 Glucose Sensor to Support a Full 144 hours (6 Days) of Use in Children

Summary

The purpose of this study is to find out if two devices called the Enlite Glucose sensor and Enlite 2 Glucose Sensor when used with the MiniMed 530G Insulin Pump will accurately collect and display glucose value of the interstitial (within the skin) fluid during the beginning, middle, and end of the time period that the sensor is worn.

Description

The study is with Medtronic MiniMed, Inc. (?Medtronic?), who is carrying out a research study to evaluate the Enlite sensor and Enlite 2 Sensor performance in pediatric patients with type 1 diabetes at the beginning, middle and end of sensor wear.
