Summary
The proposed project will retrospectively look at pre-operative, peri-operative, immediately post-operative, and follow up data for all pulmonary transplant patients >17 years old via OTTR and CERNER EMR systems at IU Health through the Advanced Cardiac Care clinic at Methodist Hospital. Goals include creating an e-cloud database via IU?s RedCap secure application, mining the OTTR and CERNER EMR systems, and finding statistically relevant comparisons between pre-operative diagnosis of pulmonary disease and post-operative time spent on ventilator during recovery.
