Summary
The purpose of this study is to explore (1) whether a STEM focused workshop and follow-up coaching results in increased K-6 STEM instruction by IUPUI Teacher Education Program (TEP) graduates in their first year of instruction and (2) how the intricacies of educational practice in elementary schools impact the curriculum choices and activities selected by new in-service teachers.
