Summary
The purpose of this study are to determine the actual monetary value, not only of the physical medication, but also in health provider hours and supplies, of an acetaminophen prescription provided from the pediatric ED, and to examine the impact of providing free fever kits to patients in the pediatric ED on patient recidivism and patient and family satisfaction.
