The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference between highly mobile, low mobility, and non-mobile student in regards to participation in elective music class, retention in elective music class, and perceptions of the value of school music between the start of fourth grade and ninth or tenth grade within a Mid-Atlantic urban school setting.
