A Two-Part Multicenter Prospective Longitudinal Study of CFTR-Dependent Disease Profiling in Cystic Fibrosis (PROSPECT-OB-14)

Summary

The purpose of this study is to determine how is CFTR function different between people with CF and those without CF, and among people with CF who have different CFTR mutations, can you tell something about a person?s level of CFTR function by measuring proteins and other indicators (?biomarkers?) in blood, sputum, and/or stool, and how much do biomarker levels change when tested at three different times over three months.

Description

The purpose of this study is to collect specimens and clinical data to better understand the molecular mediators and profiles that characterize specific levels of CFTR activity in three different cohorts.
