Summary
The purpose of this study is to determine overall prevalence and demographic characteristics of pedestrian injuries for Marion County, Indiana; to compare spatial distribution of pedestrian crashes from EMS data and compare to current high risk pedestrian zones found during the analysis of 2010-2014 with the ARIES police crash data alone and add in 2015 data; and to determine the areas of the city not covered by Indy EMS and begin to approach other EMS agencies for pedestrian data to be included in our analysis.
