Summary
The purpose of this study is to explore nursing home transfers that residents with documented comfort care experience: 1. Describe all transfers of OPTIMISTIC residents with comfort care orders using collected data in the project database, and 2. Describe the experiences of these transfers through in-depth interviews who were involved in the decision making process.
