Summary
The purpose of this study is to determine if the proportion of HCC cases linked to NAFLD has been on the rise since the year 2000; to determine the etiologies of non-cirrhotic HCC and if the prevalence is increasing since the year 2000; to investigate the proportion of patients with HCC in the absence of cirrhosis associated with NAFLD; and to determine therapies and outcomes of HCC associated with NAFLD versus other liver diseases.
Description
The purpose of this study is to determine if the proportion of HCC cases linked to NAFLD has been on the rise since the year 2000; to determine the etiologies of non-cirrhotic HCC and if the prevalence is increasing since the year 2000; to investigate the proportion of patients with HCC in the absence of cirrhosis associated with NAFLD; and to determine therapies and outcomes of HCC associated with NAFLD versus other liver diseases.
