The purpose of this study is to determine the proportion of patients initiating statin therapy who, through not attaining target LDL levels, remain at risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD) events, the CVD risk reduction possible if those patients achieved target LDL levels, and the associated costs that could be avoided by doing so.
