This study investigates the relationship between personality, mood, and reactions to different types of drinks and sports video clips. Participants will be randomly assigned to either consume an alcoholic beverage or a non-alcoholic beverage. There is a 50% chance of being placed in the alcohol consumption condition. The group assignment will be revealed at the end of the study.

Participants will undergo a urine drug screen, a pregnancy test if applicable, and a breath alcohol measurement. If all tests are negative, participants will complete questionnaires about alcohol use, emotions, and personality. They will also engage in computer tasks and watch a sports video clip while consuming the assigned beverage. Those in the alcohol condition will be monitored until their alcohol level is safe for dismissal.
