This study investigates language, thinking, insight, learning, attention, memory, and symptoms in individuals with Severe Mental Illness. Severe Mental Illness includes conditions like schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. The study aims to understand how disorganization, cognitive processes, and insight relate to each other.

Participants will undergo various assessments to evaluate their cognitive processes and insight. These assessments may involve tests or questionnaires designed to measure different aspects of thinking and understanding.

• Who can participate: Individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, schizophreniform disorder, or psychotic disorder NOS who speak English fluently can participate. Those with a history of mood disorder with psychotic features or neurological illness are excluded.
• Study details: Participants will engage in assessments that explore their cognitive functions and insight.
