Summary
The purpose of this study is to understand the growing diversity of family forms in Taiwan and China. The study will examine LGBT individuals who choose to have children and establish intergenerational families. The focus will be on the childbearing choices made by these individuals, the explanations they provide for those choices, the meanings they attribute to family and children, and their experiences seeking recognition for their families.
