Summary
The purpose of this research study is to see if Atorvastatin (generic for Lipitor) 40mg by mouth daily decreases the chance of developing heart problems in patients receiving anthracycline based chemotherapy for breast cancer or lymphoma.
Description
The purpose of this study is to use inexpensive medications to preserve CV health and thereby improve overall survival in the growing number of breast cancer and lymphoma patients.
