This study investigates biomarkers, which are small molecules found in the blood, to understand who might be at risk for developing Type 1 diabetes. The purpose is to find and test these biomarkers to see if they can show how the disease starts and progresses, using signs from blood or urine related to the health of beta cells, which are important for insulin production.

Participants in the study will undergo procedures to collect blood and urine samples. These samples will be analyzed to look for indicators of beta cell stress and death, which can provide information about the risk and progression of Type 1 diabetes.
