This study investigates how speech and social functioning occur in everyday life for individuals who have Serious Mental Illness. Serious Mental Illness refers to mental health conditions that significantly interfere with one's life activities. The study aims to evaluate methods for assessing speech characteristics and social interactions in real-world settings.

Participants will be involved in activities that assess their speech and social interactions. These activities will help researchers understand more about how individuals with Serious Mental Illness communicate and interact with others in their daily lives.

• Who can participate: Participants must speak English fluently. Individuals with a history or current diagnosis of mood disorder with psychotic features, neurological illness, or Traumatic Brain Injury with loss of consciousness over five minutes, and those with current alcohol or drug dependence are not eligible.
• Study details: Participants will engage in activities that assess speech and social interactions in real-world settings. These activities are designed to understand communication and interaction patterns. Participants will receive compensation for their involvement in the study.
