Summary
As part of a program of research conducted by the co-PIs, the long-term goal of this research is to ensure the highest quality of colonoscopy for Veterans. To determine the effectiveness of colonoscopy in colorectal cancer (CRC) prevention, this protocol focuses on quantifying the rate, outcomes, and factors associated with CRC that occurs following a colonoscopy that does not find CRC, but that is found prior to the next guideline-recommended colonoscopy.
