Summary

This study is on Bangladeshi street children?s lived experiences of abuse and violence utilizing cross-sectional survey research. The overarching objectives of the study are to 1) develop systematic knowledge on street children?s victimization processes, 2) bring this issue into mainstream academic research and discourse, and 3) develop interventions in collaboration with policy makers, social service agencies, and civil society in developing countries in general, and South Asian countries, in particular, with Bangladesh being the first country under examination by the researchers.
