The goal of this study is to evaluate the benefits of an app, that can be installed on students' smartphones, that delivers occasional reminders to students about upcoming assignments, and also delivers instructor announcements. This smartphone app (henceforth the "notification tool") will deliver short "push-notifications" on students phones.
