Summary

The study objectives are to:

  1. Describe trends in neonatal (NAS) birth prevalence and correlates in Indiana from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2021.
  2. Identify correlates of improved health outcomes and intervention opportunities prior to delivery for opioid-addicted pregnant women who deliver babies with NAS.
  3. Assess individual, interpersonal and organizational factors associated with improved outcomes after delivery of women who deliver babies with NAS and their children.
