Summary
The purpose of this study is to examine influences on sex-related behavior and sexual functioning of sex hormones and genes on the Y-chromosome. This will be accomplished through studies of adults with androgen insensitivity syndrome (AIS), who have a Y-chromosome but, because of defective androgen receptors, are unable to respond to masculinizing hormones and therefore develop a female physical appearance and are reared as females.
